The Citadel Classic Reprint. If you like to read a citaeel story with a good moral, something which will inspire you a lot, you must read one of the novels by A J Cronin.
Of course it is dated, but the humanity shines through. Characters are well developed and the multi linear plot easy to follow, bit hard to predict. But Cronin wasn’t to know that in My mother is a doctor and somehow this book – and it’s subsequent movie adaptation – had stayed with her all her life since she’d been first introduced to it.
