Neither of us had heard of Chrissie Wellington before or knew particularly much about ironman. Inspiring and honest Excellent book filled with honest emotions and insight into what a triathelete endures. Eine Geschichte mit vielen learnings.
The use of the second person narrative seems to detract from the focus of the book at times. We all suspected she was an ordinary human, chrissiw a triathlon career befitting a Marvel costumed character, and reading her telling of her own tale is inspirational, exciting, sometimes shocking, and completely compelling.
A Life Without Limits: One man’s journey to the finish line of Ironman Florida Chrissie Wellington’s story is a great inspiration for anyone that has ever wondered ‘if’ they were capable of doing something.
Lastly, while I personally find Sithout to be a very inspiring story, it’s hard for me to tell whether it would be equally inspiring to someone who doesn’t train or compete in the sport of triathlon.
The author presents a remarkable journey starting from not having any athletic aspirations to becoming a world champion. I definitely recommend reading this book, even if you have no interest in triathlon. Absolutely amazing and inspiring without false humility!
