Trivia About Embedded Microcom I mostly enjoy the level of detail presented although the chapter on scheduling and semaphores should include more depth and stronger theory.
This book gives many aspects in the embedded world that hardly found in other books. He is a leading authority on embedded systems having written 23 referred archival papers, 63 referred papers, and five book chapters in the fields of embedded systems, biomedical instrumentations, and bio-heat transfer.
It also features a unique simulation software package on the bound-in CD-ROM called Test Execute and Simulate, or TExaS, for short that provides a self-contained software environment for designing, writing, implementing, and testing both the hardware and software components of embedded systems. The book is great because it provides concrete code examples for the microcontroller that the students use in the class. The examples in the book, especially code examples, are so cryptic and unexplained that you would be better off searching for tutorials on google than wasting your time trying to read this garbage.

Some information is repeated and some information left out where it should be included. The organization of the book works well. This book covers the hardware aspects of interfacing, advanced software topics including interruptsand a systems approach to typical embedded applications.
